migrant but human (2021)

« Aware of the difficulties of expression and exchange encountered by young people arriving in Switzerland regarding their migratory situation, SilentArtVoices wanted to set up a project that would allow them to express themselves without the barriers of language or shame. To provide a caring place, suitable equipment and a time out to let their emotions run wild. »

In collaboration with l’Association La Red (Fribourg) and the artist Anton Hasler, two first workshops took place, in which a common canvas was collectively created, to be later sold to the benefit of La Red, as part of a travelling exhibition of migrant artists who had to stop their artistic activities because of their particular situation (organized by the association SilentArtVoices, founded by Manuela Gonzalez).
