Malena is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. She was born in Lima, Peru, where she grew up discovering her country's diversity both by traveling and by visiting its history, through the power of storytelling and storytellers. From these journeys, she finds inspiration for her work, such as music, geography, flavors, textures and particularly: the people.
Through her work, she's focused on exploring societal struggles very close to her heart, as well as bringing awareness to them through photography, film, sound and storytelling.
